Levenshulme House is a 5-bedded male specific nursing home, caring for working age males with severe and enduring mental health conditions, physical health comorbidities and challenging behaviours. Levenshulme House support residents to lead active and fulfilling lives. Our highly skilled team of nurses and support workers are focused on providing person centred care directed at increasing the strengths, skills, and knowledge of individual residents so that they can develop their confidence and skills to promote their self-esteem and maximise their potential for greater independence. Levenshulme offers care that is responsive to individual service users’ needs, taking into consideration their quality of life and personal choices and preferences, championing the personal dignity and self-expression of every individual. Levenshulme has a vibrant community life and is ideally located in South Manchester with fantastic public transport links to both the city and local countryside; making this an excellent location to promote inclusion locally and exploration to wider areas. We have a full range of retail facilities within the town, including a variety of cafes, shops, parks, and walkways, as well as a market that takes place every Saturday. Levenshulme will be moving to a new 6-bedded home within Manchester with larger spaces and better facilities within the next 12 months.
